Very popular pizzeria in the Trastevere district of Rome Ivo a Trastevere There are many people, both locals and tourists, waiting outside the restaurant to enter.  He is Francesco . He has been a Pizzaiolo for 60 years. Even though they are very busy they are all very friendly.

”He has been a Pizzaiolo for 60 years. He has been doing 40 years and I have been doing 25 years.” They can put about 15 pizzas in the oven at a time. Pizzas cost between 7 and 9 euros. This is Bruschetta with lard from Colonnata. and Stracciatella cheese This is basil pesto.

Mortadella ham olive If the restaurant is full, please let the staff know your name and the number of people in your party. When your seat is ready, the staff will call your name. This is a Roman vegetable called puntarelle. This is anchovy.

There are over 100 seats in the restaurant, but they fill up quickly. Even after 10:00 p.m., there are many people waiting. Therefore, I recommend coming early on weekday evenings.  If you want to experience the taste of real Roman pizza and Roman cuisine, come to Ivo Testaccio.
