Fr Lou Cameli demonstrates how to make Pasta alla Zozzona.

Ingredients:
-1 lb of rigatoni or mezzi rigatoni pasta
-1 lb of Italian sausage (bulk)
-1 cup of frozen peas
-2 cups of sliced mushrooms (4 oz.)
-ยฝ cup of finely minced onion (1 small onion)
-16 oz can of tomato sauce
-ยฝ cup red wine
-ยพ cup of vodka
-ยฝ cup of cream
-2 tbsp butter divided
-2 tbsp olive oil divided
-salt/pepper/grated Parmesan cheese to taste

Pasta ala TOA means literally filthy as in filthy rich it has a lot of different ingredients it’s very very good we begin with a basic vodka sauce we’re going to start out with oil and butter in a pan sautรฉ finely minced onions tomato sauce add some vodka let that cook down add

Some cream mix it all together sausage with a bit of oil in the bottom as it gets Brown then to add a little bit of red wine sliced mushrooms some frozen peas let that all warm up add it to the sauce cook the pasta and then mix it all

Together and top it with grated cheese it’s a simple pasta but it’s a satisfying one
