• 5 Cloves of Garlic (Chopped)
• 2/3 cup of Olive Oil
• 8 -10 Fresh Basil Leaves
• 28 oz can of Crushed Tomato
• ½ tsp. of Dried Oregano
• Tsp. of Salt
• ¼ tsp. of Black Pepper

All right welcome back to Brooklyn Brothers Cooking Channel today’s Chef Dom’s going to show you how to make this awesome Italian style asparagus I mean Marina sauce I’m drinking a whole lot of olive oil yeah it’s really good this is a great Christmas side dish um I think the family will love it

Anyway let’s get into it We’re gonna Blanche off some asparagus we’re going to leave that other rubber band on there with a boy was just like that beautiful asparagus very tender and sweet mmm okay we got some beautiful fresh asparagus here I do uh some asparagus and the maninata sauce oh beautiful a little oregano

For five cloves of garlic yeah all right okay we’re gonna blanch off our asparagus just for about 30 seconds because it’s we’re gonna cook it again in the sauce hold on a minute cool it down so I got about two tablespoons of salt in that too and that water

We’re gonna we’re gonna put these into some cold water right now and cool them down all right we’re gonna make our sauce for uh for uh asparagus our many other sauce we’re gonna put a little extra oil in there because it’s really good when it the sauce when it’s a little oily with

The vegetables really good flavor oh it does beautiful fresh basil here foreign foreign Foreign we’re gonna put our asparagus in here now no rubber bands look at that beautiful spot that looks beautiful look at that color contrast green let me maybe the other one just like this yeah and we want more in that uh the pus not big enough there we go uh yeah up

How does that look Mom beautiful yeah you know what I’m going to put a little I’m gonna Splash a little more oil in there all right we’ll be back tell me that doesn’t look good oh that’s great Look at that uh just the right amount original not perfect all right mama’s gonna give us the old taste test I was about this with the tomato sauce yeah it’s unbelievably delicious it looks really good doesn’t it smells great you have to try it okay have a nice Thanksgiving all right
