Look, the problem is Ferrero chocolate/nutella usually is not really good. Too much sugar and milk in the mix.
I think you can make a better product by using 70-80% dark chocolate and add milk/sugar yourself. You can create some sort of nutella with Hazelnut (instead of way too much sugar and palm oil used in Nutella). And if you want to finish the creation with some Ferrero Rocher and some hazelnuts like you did, that’s fine.
I just think the cake with ferrero everything is a low quality sugar/fat bomb… but that’s not the preparation falt, that’s just because Ferrero create low quality product by default (after all, they are large-scale retail products designed for children, it’s right that they don’t use high quality chocolate, it would go to waste).
