This actually looks far better than nearly all the carbonara photos posted here or on the main food sub. Not totally sure if I’d have put fresh herbs on it, but I’d call this an overall success.

as an Italian, not bad. Maybe leave the greens out next time but not bad at all.

Looks good. great job.
Just leave anything green off this dish it just ain’t right.
(The dish actually does require only 4 ingredients)

MORE PEPPER!
JK, it depends on your taste. Great job, looks very good indeed. I know people are against adding a bit of green, but seeing it is only decorative to me is not a flaw.

Hope it was made with an ostrich S egg

Pleas keep the greens if you like them

Not against the parsley. It seems that people here don’t know what garnish is

Looks really good! My 2 cents: – no garnish would be better – I’d make it a bit saucier
But I’d still eat it as is, great job!

Pretty good realisation. Recommendations:
– no parsley or other herbs
– a little more sauce (the idea is that you should see the sauce wrap around the spaghetti)
– if you can find it, a little thicker spaghetti
It looks very inviting as it is, I would eat it. My advice (apart from the first one which is compulsory) is just to get the ‘perfect’ photo.
Good job!

Looks delicious 😍

It looks good, don’t change anything, or Vincenzo may be knocking on your door!
No herbs, this is insulting. Must be made TRADITIONALLY. You know, like the way the ancient Romans made their carbonara… oh, wait.
On a more serious note, it looks amazing, the garnish adds depth. You can see the beautiful crema on the thick spaghetti and beautifully cooked chunks of guanciale. I enjoy topping mine with extra black pepper as well. 10/10

Looks good, but herb garnishing has nothing to do with this plate.

Looks great! I’d kinda wanna see a tad bit more cheese sauce all over them, but appart from that, yummy!!!

It looks so so good! Just get rid of parsley, you don’t need it for carbonara and maybe that needs a bit more of sauce but, again, it looks really good!
