When you come to Tel Aviv, make sure that you go to Malkhi Yisrael 7 street, and check out a pizzeria that is called ארציאלי (which means the land of Israel).
The reason for the name is that the ingredients that they use for the pizza come from Israel.
Speaking of the Land of Israel, Israel is really the land of pizzas.
There are so many pizzerias in Israel, and you will not be able to go far without bumping into a pizza place.
This specific pizzeria is a joint venture between two childhood friends (Elad Cohen, and Chef Ahoan Masel) who worked in catering, yet had a dream of opening a pizzeria.
In Israel you will usually find pizzas that are round, but this pizza is rectangle (exactly like they do it in Rome).
Once the pizza is made, it is transferred to an oven, and then taken out from the oven with a big wooden oar.
The pizzas sit inside a vetrina, and are heated when ordered.

Wow, this thick crust pizza was amazing!
It is a beautiful bulky Italian airy pizza (which resembles a Focaccia) with fresh high quality delicious ingredients, and a variety of toppings.
The service was great, the location is amazing (right next to Rabin Square) and the price (that is charged here by weight rather than by slice) was very affordable.
Surely one of the best pizzerias in Tel Aviv.
