If you ever do come to this city, disregard the scary stories about the South Side. It’s a lot of negative hype.
Get some Al’s, bring some (like,$100)… get a Jim Shoe from Stony Sub (split a King with your traveling partner)… pick up some shrimp and/or garlic peppered trout from Calumet Fisheries.
