Not sure if it’s trolling or not. You’re supposed to batter your pecorino with the egg yolks and some starchy pasta water. Then grate your cured yolk if you like to give it an original touch

I appreciate the effort. I think the parm does not work like that. And with the parm, neither does the yolk. Looks messy. I think the bacon works, and having just that with a couple more pieces spread out, but not too far from the center, with the color contrast against the white plate, would look cleanest yet detailed in the way i think you want and thus much better. Without the parm, i would have to see it, but I would be surprised if yolk worked in the way u want.
