Hi folks,

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for your advice!

I still have a long way to go on my homemade pasta journey, but there’s a definite improvement already compared to the previous post.

This is how what I did this time.

– For my dough I used around 300 grams 00 flour, 3 whole eggs and an extra yolk.

– Closed the back door to prevent a draft.
– Kneaded with more force
– Cut my dough into smaller pieces before rolling out with a pin
– Laminated the dough with my pin before fully rolling it out flat.
– Sped up my rolling of the dough

And well, see for yourself!

Unfortunately I immediately ruined it afterwards with a very bland cannelini, garlic and parsley sauce (another area I’m need to work on), but I’m really pleased with the progress!

Thanks for all your advice and recommendations!

I should add there was still a little pebbling, but no where near what it was. I’ll get there though with practise ☺️

Good job! Just keep at it, and embrace all mishaps as you gain more knowledge and get better every time.
