Shipping bottles to our Wine Club’s American members has always been a very delicate issue. Two apparently conflicting needs had to be balanced: to find a route as short as possible while trying to reduce CO2 emissions. Thanks to the intercession of Alessio Piccardi, our partner and owner of the Montevarchi hub, after various attempts we think we have found the squaring of the circle: shipping by sailboat through Grain de Sail project. Often to find innovative solutions it is enough to look at the past with new eyes
