Pumpkin Curry
Traditional pumpkin Poriyal suits for South Indian Lunch
Ingredients
Pumpkin – 2 cups , chopped
Onion – 1/2
Green chilly – 1 , Red chilly -1
Chilly powder – 1/2 tsp , turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Oil,salt, curry, coriander leaves, coconut, jaggery
Mustard seeds, ulund gram dhals
Steps
In 2 tsp of oil fry mustard seeds ulund gram dhals, add onion, green chilly ,red chilly and fry
Add chopped pumpkin, salt, chilly, turmeric powders and mix well,add 1/2 cup water.
Close and cook for 4 minutes.Add curry leaves, little jaggery and cook for a minute
Add coriander leaves and coconut.
