  1. If you use potato starch instead of flour, you'll get a great mochi like texture. But don't fry them straight away from the pot, let them dry out and cool a little for about 20 mins

  2. Me and my girlfriend cook gnocchi like this all the time. Only thing we do differently is roll a forks prongs over the little pillows the long way to give each piece a little more texture on it. Beautiful and easy dish

  3. Bake in the oven, scoop out, mash, knead, cut, boil, bake again… too much work. Probably very good, but no thanks

  5. It's better if you give the gnocchi a little texture or a dip in the middle so it holds sauces better

  6. It’s not a jacketed potato it’s the base form of potato. You don’t call a skinned potato a naked or a “mans not hot” potato
