Thank you for watching! This week I’ve been experimenting in the kitchen to create the perfect homemade gelato recipe, with no ice cream maker or machine, just whipping it by hand to get a voluptuous soft texture and intense natural flavour. The perfect dessert in this hot summer we’re experiencing in Tuscany, in Italy, and in many parts of the world right now.

Every day I get so many emails and comments asking why you can’t locate the music I use or find it using Shazam. I purchase music licenses for almost all the music you hear in my videos. I buy them them from various royalty-free production music sites and most of the time they don’t list the performer because it’s music made only for film productions with an audio watermark throughout the entire track, unless you purchase the single-use license for $50-100 per track. I use a lot of opera so often I’ll reference the opera but I won’t be able to direct you to a recording of that specific performance that you could stream or buy on iTunes or Spotify. Hope that clears things up and thank you for appreciating quality music.

  1. Happy summer! Hope you like this episode. I’ve been working on three episodes at once, hence the delay. I’ll have another one published here later this week, so stay tuned. Thank you for your support and your time watching my work.🍨🍦🌞

  2. Gelato is a perfectly healthy high metabolic food (yes even with white sugar) when it´s made with raw milk and good eggs.

Search for Dr. Ray Peat if interested.

  3. Kylie you are unbelievable in all you do and I constantly amazed at what you accomplish. Your editing and photography alone is award winning. The sounds that Guido made while devouring the gelato said it all! I meant to ask before, but all the tall trees lining the roads are so green while the fields are dry and yellow. How?

  4. Looking forward to your recipes for Gelato. I can relate to that “stick to it” power to achieve end results. I can’t wait to visit Italy next month to taste Gelato in the different provinces. I’m in California and I’m certain we do not have the same dairy and heavy cream’s as you have in Italy. ❤️

  5. Mouth-watering and I have been salivating at this video. I think I admire you even more for making the cones!
I would say my favourite ice cream flavour is coffee and then coconut and lime, which is lovely and cooling. Will be watching out for the second episode and can't wait to see what will happen in that. Beautiful scenery as always Kylie.

  6. Wonderful Kylie ! So inspiring. Thank you, The music was the cherry on the top 🙂

  7. Watching this after eating some lovely Gelato in London on a sunny warm evening.

My favourite flavour is anything citrus! Especially lemon 🍋 also pistachio. I had wonderful mint gelato once made with fresh mint from the garden. Matcha is also a favourite!!!

  8. What a beautiful couple I stumbled upon your video by accident and it's so lovely to see a couple so much in love. I wish you and your family all the best ❤

  9. A classic vanilla is always so delicious, but I am definitely going to try hazelnut. They are so creamy and silky all on their own, they must go very well in gelato.

  10. Fabulous! My fav is thee one with the berries! I love spumoni gelato ! Enjoy! Baby is so sweet!

  11. Thank you so much for this video! I have been looking to experiment with making gelato or icecream for my husband. The challenge for me is he cannot have dairy or sugar. I'm hoping to experiment using your method with coconut milk/cream and date sugar. I'm sure I will have many failed attempts but am determined to make something delicious he can enjoy.

  12. I have a funny question..Do you have flies in Italy?🤣 I see how you cook outside so comfy. Love your videos Thank you bringing Italy to New Mexico

  13. Oh, right, Kylie, you have to make one more batch just to really get it right. Hah! You just want an excuse to have more gelato! Well, I guess one reason is as good as another, when you are talking about gelato. I recently bought a small icecream maker—one where you freeze the bowl & then it does the stirring for you. I hope your gelato recipe is online so I can try it, the nocciola was my favorite when I was in Italy, but I used to love a candy that was a stick of orange gumdrop coated with dark chocolate, so that chocolate & orange peel flavor sounded good, too! Gianfranco is adorable, such a big boy & sounds like such a happy baby, except when he has to wait for lunch to cool off, but I might scream, too, waiting for my gelato to freeze. Give those plump little thighs of his (not yours!!) a squeeze for me & for all your viewers who are in love with him, too!

  14. ❤ So sweet, so beautiful! Ya know, once Gianfranco can use a stepstool & a spoon I'll betcha he'll be wanting to volunteer as your gelato stirrer. 💐☀️ Namaste P.S. If you were to do Italian holiday breads that would be wonderful. I swear some of these old Italian recipes read like poetry or sheet music- b still my heart❤!

  15. Kylie next time do the freezing in a round metal bowl. SO much easier to whip up because there’s no corners. That’s how I make granita.

  16. How wonderful! My mother used to make "icebox ice cream," what is referred to as no churn ice cream these days. I lived in New York City once upon a time and delicious gelato could be found in Little Italy. 😋 I love your flavor choices! Here in the US butter pecan and rum raisin are also favorites, in my circles anyway. One tip for your beautiful cones to help stop leaks, you can put a small amount of melted chocolate or a caramel that will solidify – just a bit in the bottom tip, enough to create a delicious edible plug! The last icebox ice cream that I made was vanilla toasted almond, another good choice! Stay cool, you cool kids! 🤗 😁

  17. ❤ Bellissimo! Grazie Kylie. Kudos to you for taking on the challenge and absolutely smashing it! Ⓜ️🌺
