I love these shows, but, especially people like Guy Fierri, Bobby Flay and the others that can act like gentlemen. I do not believe Gordon Ramsay is the asshole he acts like and if you watch the UK versions of Kithen Nightmares, he is a gentleman as well. I believe the American versions he is acting (no idea. Never met the guy) and catering to a trashier audience who buys the bullshit. BUT! I will take the polite versions any day over the trash.
