Ingredients –
400g (14oz) – Spaghetti
1 Tbsp (20ml) – Olive Oil
1 1/2 Tbsp (21g) – Unsalted Butter
4 – Garlic Cloves, Thinly Sliced
1 – Whole Lemon, Zest Thinly Sliced
1/2 – Lemon, Juiced
1/2 Cup (125ml) – Thickened Cream
10g (0.35oz) – Curley or Flat Leaf Parsley, Roughly Chopped
Seasoning To Taste
Notes –
This recipe is strong on lemon so adjust it to your taste. The first time I made it, I put way too much lemon juice in (I used 1 whole lemon) and it ruined the dish. I’ve now reduced it to half and I think it’s the perfect balance. If you’re concerned, you can add the zest and cream and squeeze 1 quarter of a lemon into the sauce and adjust that way. Half a lemon works well though, so don’t worry.

Lemon and cream doesn't curdle?
I myself love this recipe and personally add some surimi or shrimps (or both) and sometimes even some chili flakes or pepper if I have them. But the basic one you made here is already so yummy and so cheap! Honestly a very easy base to add stuff to.

Could I use the lemon peel from preserved lemons for this? I'm aware the salt level is much higher so I'd have to reduce it elsewhere. I'm just so addicted to them, I'm trying to find new ways to use them lol

I made this tonight. I feel like it needs 3 times the sauce this recipe calls for. Use 1.5 cups of cream and juice of 1.5 large lemons., and the zest of both lemons. Otherwise it’s delicious.
Any alternatives for thickened cream? Wanna try to reduce fat from any of my family food.
