  2. My Mom made pasta e cece on Fridays when we were kids. No meat Fridays back then. We all loved it. She’s gone now almost 12 years but I still get requests for it. I got the Italian cooking gene. I’ve not made the pasta before. What kind of flour did you use? I don’t have the machine so can I roll it thin and cut? Or is the machine needed? Love your cooking videos for many years. Your Mom was the sweetest. Brings my Mom back to me. I miss her.

  3. Thanks so much for this recipe. I’m definitely a fan of chickpeas and eat them often. One tip I learned from another chef is to dust the pasta with cornstarch instead of flour if you plan to stack them together. Since there’s no gluten, the pasta sheets will not stick together when put on top of each other. Just brush it off before cooking.

  4. Pasta e ceci, uno dei nostri favolosi piatti di pasta con i legumi (ceci, fagioli, lenticchie, piselli, fave). Io a questo piatto, mentre soffriggere la pancetta, spesso aggiungo anche un cucchiaino di concentrato di pomodoro per dargli un po’ di colore.
