The Pandoro cake is a Christmas cake that originated in the Veneto city of Verona.
It’s delicious and extremely hard to make at home. The internet is full of “easier” recipes, but those are fakes, the real pandoro is made with sourdough and it takes almost 3 days to make. Any recipe that uses industrial yeast is fake, and will produce something that tastes nothing like pandoro. There is no easy way to make this cake.
