Gordon did it again 😭
This time he put a whole steak on top of pasta… who’s going to tell him that this thing is completely wrong? Meat is ok in pasta but not in this way! He did a great job with the other dishes but the Pasta he made was not traditional at all 🙎🏻‍♂️

  1. Even as an Italian American this disturbs me. How can you not mix the pasta and the sauce that’s basic. Who wants dry dead pasta with sauce on top.

  2. Though I appreciate Gordon because of his work in India and promoting authentic Indian cuisine, watching you swear in Italian at celebrity chefs is becoming a favorite pastime of mine. On a side note, at 9:57, WTH is going on with the broken pasta in the stock footage?

  3. 22:12 Anche i tedeschi qui in Germania purtroppo fanno questa cosa ! 🤦🏻‍♂️ La pasta praticamente sta per i fatti suoi.

  4. Just love your reactions I enjoy Orzo What I like more is Pastina which I ate as a child for breakfast which is so hard to find I have heard that Ronzoni will not be making it anymore My mama never put olive oil in the water. Also meat from the gravy was always on the side Unless you grew up Italian there are so many things that even a chef as he doesn’t know.

  5. Gordon is not bad at cooking, but putting olive oil in the water is seriously one of the stupidest things you can do. And I don't understand why he's so stubborn and still didn't learn to stop doing that. Maybe after doing it for so many years he'd just feel stupid admitting it was a mistake.

  6. Just wanted to say your tips have been a great help on my journey of learning to cook like an Italian! Every time I think I have something down you come in with other amazing tips. Thank you!

  7. I don't like Gordon Ramsey at all…. not interested in his style. You are the inspiration if it comes to Pasta dishes,….

  8. You even dont`t need the oil in the water when the pot is small. You can just stir the pasta and it doesn`t stick together. Easy!

  9. I gotta say… I love my olive oil too, but it will never not be weird to me when I see someone put the stuff into a pot of water to cook their pasta. =p

  10. For your orzo recipe, you could try those fried little cheese balls we were talking about. Lol. Also, I think you should google cheezio pepe. Smfh

  11. Boiling the pasta is the only part of Italian cooking that British people like. Get it? because it requires boiling!

  12. Orzo is delicious! It has a great mouth feel. It's very nostalgic for me. We would have it with butter and cheese very simple

  13. Italian cooking means metal instruments inside the teflon pan. Also put the teflon pan with a plastic handle into the oven. Nice, this way the teflon pan industry does sell more pans.

  14. All Gordon had to do was shred that beef cheek and mix the pasta into the Ragu and stop salting everything when you’ve salted the pasta water. Also he did t save the pasta water.

  15. You're right this is not a ragu, he cooked the meat in it, took it out but didn't use the sauce. The sauce is still in the pot, a little bit on the meat, it's wetting the meat, but the pasta don't benefit from it ! And anyone that cooked pasta now that if you don't mix sauce with the pasta and let it alone in the plate, they got dry and stick to eachother ! So he made a good piece of meat with sad pasta on the side !

  16. As usual, I couldn't agree more! I've been confused by some of GR's techniques before but to be clear about one thing: Ragu! You are entirely correct and Gordon should know what that word means. Twenty years later I learned that GR and I were in Paris at the same time, the early mid 80's. He was a plongeur (dishwasher) in a restaurant while I was taking the first of several intensives at Cordon Bleu Paris. As I learned what a Ragout was he should have as well. Ragu: from the French Ragout: from the verb Ragouter: meaning basically a return of flavor. How to make flavorful but cheap and often tough cuts of meat, develop deep flavors and tenderness by slow and low cooking them. It's not difficult and it's such a logical thing to break apart the meat in the ragu then combine pasta IN the ragu and plate. I think GR was making an ancient and lost Cucina Povera receipt for "Chunky Beef and Clump Pasta Glue Balls" I've read that on August 17th, 1493 Pope Alexander (Rodrigo de Borja) outlawed this dish after an entire village DIED and the cook who had consumed only a simple salad was excommunicated then burned at the stake! Vincenzo your reactions as usual are most entertaining! 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻

  17. Everyone I have ever met, thinks that all Italian food contains pasta, except pizza. Make some dishes that are Italian without pasta please

  18. PRO TIP Vincenzo: place only 1/4-1/3 of the pasta pot on the burner for a "rolling" effect! You will NEVER have to stir again my friend!

  19. I hate to say this, dear Vincenzo, but one of my favourite dishes ever served in a restaurant was a chicken pasta. Fusulli and chicken ragu,
Garlic, cream, basil, white whine and the cheese beyond cheeses: taleggio..
Love to you and your channel..
    ❤️🥂

  20. I'm not a cook, but I still don't understand why they pour oil into water when cooking spaghetti or macaroni. First, water and oil cannot mix, everyone knows that from school. The oil will just float on the surface. Second, it will only grease the spaghetti, making it harder for the sauce to stick to it, since it is already greasy.

  21. I ALSO LOVE WHEN U SPEAK HALF ENGLISH AND HALF ITALIAN i can feel your feelings 😀

  22. I would love ❤️ if you and Eva from @PastaGrammar did a reaction video together! 🤌🇮🇹💯⭐️
