Welcome to Italian winery travel! Noemi Pizzighella Teaser at her vineyard Le Guaite di Noemi, Verona – Today Stevie Kim visits winemaker Noemi Pizzighella at her vineyard Le Guaite di Noemi in the territory of Valpolicella to the north of Verona.
Noemi explains the significance of the winery’s location, soil and climate and takes Stevie on a tour of the production area and cellars.
Noemi’s family has been producing olive oil here since 1987 and wine since 2002, making wines typical of the Valpolicella region, including Amarone, Ripasso, Recioto and Valpolicella Superiore, as well as a sparkling wine made with the local Durello grape variety.
