I usually do not fancy Colomba at all but I liked this one a lot. It has a good taste and balance with chocolate chips complementing the peach marmalade and another thing that is super is they have caster sugar on a side like pandoro to shake the colomba with, instead of the classical grainy sugar top. You may argue that is not a classical colomba and it only retains the shape of it, but I think they’ve done a great job in making the colomba a joy to eat for people like me who do not like it. I have removed the maker because I am not advertising for them, just pleasantly surprised.
