  1. That looks fantastic! I can almost taste it from here! I may be wrong, but the pasta looks a tad overcooked, just a bit translucent. Did you boil it using a timer?

    Looks great! And remember, no parmigiano reggiano here. Aglio e olio is the “spaghetti alle vongole” without “vongole”. A poor recipe created by poor people with no mussels. So… No grated cheese on top 🙂 perfectly done!

    Love me a good Aglio e Olio, especially on a tight day. Personally, I’d brown the garlic a little longer so it has a bit of a crunch, but not too long ‘cos burn garlic is horrid!

    Looks like you could have cooked the garlic on low heat a little longer. That one slice to the left
    Looks like it’s raw.

    It’s an excellent,
    Low cost dish.
