Pasta is nearly eaten everyday in italy…
Italien Food in the us is almost the worst, just in the Middle East and China or is worse

Yeah we were the only ones throwing pepperonis and sausage and buffalo sauce on pizzas. Before that the Italians only had bread with sauce on it. So they better be f**** thankful
That east coast Italian food is fuckin delicious
Lots of great fish dishes, but they do have pasta, not so much red sauce, but great chicken and beef dishes, also great bread
My Father was a butcher and he made the best pizza, fig and prosciutto, he would eat every part of a pig , he loved the cheeks from the face, also snout, when I was a kid he would cook snouts and try to get me to eat some , he and my Grandfather would laugh while they are snout sandwich 🥪
I know right while in the air force we stopped into a Sicilian restaurant and ordered a authentic Sicilian pizza .. worst garbage I ever ate 😑

These very filling “immigrant dishes” were the same in italy, the reason being we were mostly poor so when we had food we would fill our stomach with stuff like pasta and bread and the sauce and stuff was usually just a little to keep it tasty
That’s cause we came to America flat broke 😂 worked our way from the bottom and now we are mostly all upper or middle class in less than 100 years
Same with Chinese food
