Napoles is an Italian restaurant, pasta palace, pizza parlor, bar, and shop (all rolled into one) with an eclectic aesthetic and an exhibit/decore of tastefully curated antiquities – where many of the items are larger than life!
Including ancient marble, ceramic & wood sculptures, cast iron artifacts, glass display cases and ambient amber lighting along with the aroma of pizzas and handmade pastas – combine to make the magical & unique full-sensory dining atmosphere.
The prices are reasonable by Buenos Aires standards for finer dining, the beverage selection is divers and the service is relax-paced (also par for the course in Buenos Aires); Overall I felt the friendly efficient service from reception to table is noticeably part of thier tastefully designed dining experience.
Our friends made dinner reservations from the USA before we arrived in BA with a party of 4 people for a birthday celebration; Then we ordered: pizza, salad, ravioli, gnocchi, and fizzy sangria. The portions were large enough that we where too full to order dessert.
Antiquities and fashionable clothes are also for sale, so be sure to walk among the antiquities – and maybe you will find a treasure!
We heard of this venue via the owner of our favorite Mid-Century Modern antique dealer in the heart of San Telmo and so Napole is the conception of his father, which explains this interesting dining concept. If you’re in Buenos Aires, be sure to try this venue!
