    Not Italian, this is very clearly Italo-American.

    First of all, why oil il the water? Why do y’all do that? It’s literally a waste of olive oil.

    Correct and traditional soffritto (veggie base).

    Wtf is “Marinara”? Why use processed shite when you can use a simple canned tomato sauce? Also he could have said what seasoning he used.

    I don’t take issue with vegan meat he used, mind you, but bolognese requires 4 hours of cooking to really bring the flavors out. No idea how the vegan meat behaves in long cooking though. He just tossed it all in the pan and called it a day.

    And finally, for all of the Americans out there, please stop calling Ragù “Bolognese”, Ragù is what the generic meaty sauce is and “Bolognese” is a very specific recepie of a ragù. And if you actually make a “Bolognese” don’t call it “Bolognaise”. We are not french!
