Jamie Oliver is the friendly chef who made cooking and food seem fun again, in a dimension separate to the Hell’s Kitchen and Masterchefs of the world. So his restaurant in Delhi was an easy pick for us.
For starters, the place was originally a pizzeria when we first visited and had a more Italian restaurant feel to it this time. A more diversified menu, basically, which did cause some odd confusion at the end. We tried the Quattro Formaggio, Chicken Alla Diavolo, Chicken Milanese Bites, The Jamie’s Italian Burger, Crispy Squid and the Tiramisù. Top to bottom a complete meal which we assumed is part of their remodelling.
Do we miss the Pizzeria we loved the first time around? To an extent, considering it was the first time we’d gulped a purely vegetarian pizza in ten minutes. But as the video shows, this new avatar of Jamie has a vast menu that may in the long run fit more palates.
