In the summer and fall of 2021, I flew to New York City twice to explore the food culture of one of the most diverse cities in the world. Across those two trips, I took several trips into neighboring New Jersey, which is known for its massive South Asian population!
From Jersey City to Edison to Parsippany, I let my taste buds guide me to numerous Indian restaurants. There, I ate some of the best Indian food Iโve ever tried outside of India! Joining me were several friends, including viewers and supporters, as well as some fellow YouTubers!

From the South Indian breakfast, Indian pizzas, and the incredible South Asian in Edison; to the pav bhaji and dosas in Jersey City; to the South Asian sweets in Edison; to the hearty and meaty dishes I tried in Parsippany, my palate was on a wild roller coaster ride I did not want to get off of!
It was an epic 4+ days of eating some of the tastiest food of my life while getting to know lots of new friends, which is the best way to get to know someone!
I could tell you more about the food, but it would probably be more effective if I just showed you. Come with me on one of my most epic eating adventures yet as I experience 100 hours of Indian food in New Jersey!

Hi, David, It would be nice if you can contrast the different foods you tried around the world especially from Suriname Trinidad and Guyana compared to what you had India.
That thali is a typical south Indian thali you get from Bengaluru.
I roll my eyes whenever an Indian tries to teach David on what he is eating. David never shows off that he already knows. He just listens to them so patiently.
Thanks for your videos, my question is why there is no normal dishes? There is or just plastic or just banana leaves? And cristal or porcelain in expensive places? Neverโ ve seen in your videos, why ?
I loved this documentary. Well put together. The food looked so delicious. Everything was so clean and your hosts explained what was on the menu so well. Nothing was complicated. Second guy, though, needed to lighten up a bit. He was so serious that he wasn't fun to watch. Loved the brain freeze with the Korean guy. He really enjoyed the food too. However, the girl at the end was so pleasant. She explained everything so well and she really enjoyed the food too. So onto the next one.๐น๐น๐จ๐ฆ

Hi David. I am now 70 years old an have never had Indian Food. I am currently on a very strict weight loss diet, but once I have reached my goal this non-adventurous eater is going to try some Indian food. Thanks for the great videos. I sat here for the entire video, not realizing how long it was, and enjoyed it thoroughly. John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
