Been watching you for years. Love the channel, but my guy… this is DRESSING. It’s cornbread dressing, not stuffing. It’s not in the bird, and served on the side. Cornbread dressing.

When I make cornbread dressing, I use chicken liver in addition to the sage sausage, swap out the onions for scallions, and add some green bell pepper.
I'd love to see your take on oyster stuffing on of these days.

I want to thank you for this video. Tonight I used the cornbread stuffing recipe and combined it with a coq au vin recipe that I got from one of my other favorite YouTube food channels, Chef John. The stuffing was amazing. This is the first time I’ve made stuffing that didn’t come from a box.
This channel has really elevated my cooking abilities and I’m having so much fun with it.
I made the cornbread stuffing for thanksgiving! It was my own take – 2 boxes of store brand cornbread mix made 2 days ago, sweated out some sweet white onion, added garlic, then about 3tbsp butter till just melted, combined with bread in a large mixing bowl, added freshly chopped rosemary, thyme, and sage and then chicken stock until it seemed wet enough. placed in small skillet with a few squares on top like in the above and did about as stated – 25 min at 350, then removed foil and did another 15ish. Tasted great! So proud of my first time making home-made stuffing!

You do know “stuffing” is stuffed in the turkey ? Looks like to me you’re making “dressing”
