I have loved Shepherd’s Pie ever since I first had it in the UK many moons ago. This time, I was inspired to make what I call an Italian Shepherd’s Pie. Well, it turned out delicious, so be sure to try it yourself.

Shepherd’s Pie is made with Lamb , its in the name ,Shepherd’s take care of / Sheep / Lamb
Cottage Pie is made with Beef , mabe you are making a Pork Pie
But still looks good . your Pie

I would only change some steps while doing it, like adding the garlic a minute before the meat was ready so it gets some heat from the pan and releases the flavor and then the herbs for the same reason (I like it a bit sauteed instead of boiled from the meat juices), since some herbs can get pretty bitter if cooked too long (oregano, especially if it's from the mountains)
just my opinion though 🙂

with winter just around the corner this is hands down one of my favorite dishes it's got to be Shepherds Pie. I know the original version used lamb as the meat protein well regardless of what meat protein used I find your mashed potatoes are the best! love the fact that a clean potato with the skin left on makes for the best mashed potatoes. while this variation of the Shepherds Pie is one I'll be trying. while homemade variations are the best! there's a commercial brand that was family owned until recently where the issues the last few years the family sold the recipe to a corporation that makes it exactly as it's been for a very long time so if unable to make yourself there'S an one 8 once Shepherds Pie that still has the family name on the package. that's got 3 of the best ingredients high quality ground beef super sweet tender corn and a great mashed potatoe on top. where this is your version that a definite one to do that for me if all there were left was Kevin's version of the Shepherds Pie it'd be on my to have list all the time actually quite a few lately have been on the best of list and its always a pleasure your easy to do presentations in making some fine looking and great tasting meals, that's always a pleasure to watch, thanks Kevin!

How do the Japanese perceive western food? Like the Shepards Pie or pot roast or the double double hamburger. My initial thought is they think "portion control" lol… great video btw…gonna make this!
