We went 40 meters under Naples. Did you know Naples has an underground city of 2,000,000 square feet? In this episode we explore this historic site and of course, have a lot more good food. Yes, another food tour, this time with Italian sweets/pastries and more neopolitan pizza.

We love what we are doing so far, we’re learning so much about the world, ourselves, and each other every day and we hope you enjoy our content and have a smile or laugh along with us!

  1. Getting close to 700 subscribers and it’s good to see you upload a new traveling vlog

  2. So interesting to discover the undergound part of a city.
Sad to think that during the 2nd World War around 8000 people sought refuge there and that nowadays many Ukranians have to live underground to survive the war.
The pastries look so delicious and Italy also has a beautiful coffee tradition (like Austria).
As far as I know Naples was also the birthplace of Pizza, although very basic. The toppings we know now mostly originated in the USA.

  3. I'm not a huge pizza lover but your pizza sure tempted me. After watching your vlog I almost ordered pizza to be delivered. Maria and Olivia, you're so brave squeezing through those tight underground tunnels! This part of your vlog was truly fascinating, thanks for sharing the history with us.

  4. you went to the small area of "Napoli sotterranea" not the famous one( there are a lot of different associations all around the city), the famous one is located in decumani district, near the "san gregorio armeno street", the tour is about three hours but more interesting, also in Naples you have other two important underground access, one is "galleria borbonica" and the other one is "neapolis sotterrata" located in the San Lorenzo Maggiore complex(my favourite) just in front of the most famous "napoli sotteranea", I am so sorry but you visited the less interesting access! come next time 🙂
