This is the perfect comfort food for colder weather!
How I cooked it
• Brown 1lb Italian sausage in a Dutch oven then set aside
• Sauté 1 chopped onion, 1 cup of chopped carrots a 3 cloves minced garlic
• Add 1 tbsp Italian seasoning, 1/4 cup flour, 6 cups chicken broth, 6oz tomato paste, 1 cup heavy whipping cream and 9oz of tortellini.
• Simmer for 5 mins then turn off the heat and add your sausage back in
• Add 3 cups of chopped spinach
• Serve and enjoy!
