what we Italians are mostly proud of is local food. local means harvested or grown in your area. things as simple as tomatoes or radicchio are better, to our eyes and to our taste, than those bought at a supermarket and coming from God knows where. I am from the Venice area and when I go to a restaurant I spontaneously ask if their seafood is local or not. And if it comes from elsewhere, the taste is different! Great video from a genuinely intelligent couple. Complimenti!
