  1. I have been watching you for years. Your recipes are just like my mother’s simple and delicious. Love you

  2. Love Lidia and her cooking. Have made her spaghetti and cherry tomatoes many times with some of my own variations after I made her original recipe. Have also used her cherry tomatoes in salads and other things. When I had cable TV her show was on PBS which I watched all the time. Everything stopped so I could watch her and get recipes. I've had many enjoyable meals at home thanks to her. Thank you Lidia from the bottom of my heart (and also from my taste buds and tummy 😋😊👍)

  3. i love Lydia can watch her all day!!!!!!! we've been to her restaurants in NY absolutely fabulous!!!!!! Im Sicilian and the greatest thing about Lydia is she's authentic!!!!!! her cooking is the best!!!!

  4. I have tasted any of your food dishes, from the videos I have watched, of your creations,I think this would be my favorite dish!!! Amazing !!!

  5. Best meatloaf we ever had was in Rome. It was made from a mixture of pigeon and squirrels meat. Both meats are not high in fat but the recipe made up for it by calling for recovered goats fat, pine nuts and Italian style Cheddar cheese. The absolute best Italian meatloaf!

  6. I love my kitchen aid for grinding meat. Love this recipe for meat loaf. Will look into Saba sounds interesting.

  7. How much I enjoy your watching you. Thank you for sharing part of your culture in your videos and recipes.

I love your kindness to your mom.

  9. Minnesota recipe. Brown a pound of ground beef. Add a pound of cheese. Add something else and eat it. Hot dish or meat loaf?

  10. My grandmother and mother always put tomato sauce over the meatloaf and it would blend with the meat juices in the bottom of the pan and it was absolutely delicious! 🙂

  11. A pinch of baking soda will do exactly the same thing. It will break down and melt the vegetables in the blink of an eye! It's especially helpful for onions and children because they just melt in the pan when you put in a pinch of baking soda AKA sodium bicarbonate depending on where you're from.

  12. When I lived in Morocco I had an olive tree right outside my front door and yes we picked them some green and waited until some turned black. There was nothing like a Moroccan Olive. 🙂

  13. We did this with couscous in Morocco. 🙂 I have lived all over the world on the disability check working and writing wherever I could. Now I am back in America and not very happy without any living family.

  14. I agree Lydia is amazing and lots of ways. And Lydia taught a lot of the world's greatest chefs what they know and of course those chefs don't really mention that. This meatloaf is the best looking meatloaf I've ever seen. And I love meatloaf and I've eaten the traditional American kind for a long time. Well it's time to switch up. I live alone so I will be figuring it out the best way to downsize this and I only wish that I had a family to share it with!!

  15. Just pulled this out of the oven this morning. Has it for lunch. I enjoyed it. Had a milky flavor, and very good texture. Can’t better describe it. It was good enough to make again! Thanks
