In today’s video I showcase what $100 USD can buy you while traveling Rome, Italy. Italy is known for being one of the richest and most expensive cities in the world but does that mean you can’t travel here on a budget? Throughout this video I showcase prices for out hotel, transportation, food, and some other cheap/free things to do.

Rome is one of my favorite cities in the world for its delicious food, history, and how it’s relatively affordable to other parts of Italy.

  1. Fan fact: the gelato “gianduia” his nane comes from a little choccolate, produced in Turin (northen italy)

  2. The way you pronounce TRASTEVERE isn't correct ;)….the accent goes into the first E…

  3. Hey Is there “Little New York in Italy”?😂 I’ve been to Italy but never pay attention to that until now that you’re there!

  4. Great video! You really depicted Rome quite spectacularly and you got the true essence of it! Proud to be an Italian 😄

  5. It's really nice to see best friends travelling, experiencing things and doing fun projects like this together ❤️

  6. That is actually reasonable comparing the prices from America to Italy. But as a Filipino, a $100 in the Philippines could get you through a week or 2 so its still a bit expensive for us. Haha

  7. Maybe someone has said this, but it’s Sant Eustachio. Love your videos always though!

  8. The wine part was awesome man I found myself trying to say that phrase about the cups in my most Italian way possible haha great video

  9. Hi Brett, i follow all your videos from italy. I am coming to new york for christmas, i hope to meet you. Rome is a magnificent city and Gabriella has a truly remarkable English pronunciation. I hope you enjoyed this experience in Rome, if one day you will come to Milan do not hesitate to ask for my help. (translate this from Italian), ti ringrazio per far conoscere agli americani tutte queste culture e tradizioni italiane, ti auguri di raggiungere 1 milione di iscritti ! Saluti dall’italia ❤

  10. Just letting your subscribers know that 3 euros for a croissant and 4 for a cappuccino in italy is a rip off

  11. Brett, It is three coins in the Fountian, one for happiness, one for love, and one to return. Did you get the gelato by the Trevi Foutain?

  12. As an Italian guy I'm really grateful for these kind of videos, because they truly show the beauty of my country. Nice work! Of course you couldn't know the city very well as a tourist, but I can assure you that you could actually buy much more with 100$. 9€ for a pizza Margherita is a lot, we usually pay it 4-5€, maybe even 3-3.50€ in some cities. Cappuccino and cornetto usually cost about 2.50€ together. The most beautiful part about Italy is that money doesn't mean quality. Many restaurants are really affordable and offer you top quality food, while the expensive places don't always offer you the same quality. And if noone told you: gianduja is a variant of chocolate, which has its origin in my city, Torino, in the North West of Italy. Gianduja has less cocoa and more hazelnut in it. It was born because Napoleon had put a commercial block to Italy and cocoa had become not so easy to get at those times. Gianduja is the name of the tipical carnival mask of Torink and the man with that mask used to distribute gianduja among the population during the carnival. Thanks again for your work, I hope you will come back to Italy soon!
