Tell Tess thank you SO much for the recipe and the tips….I am making her pizelle recipe now and fabulous….I have been looking for a recipe without Crisco and I just found it…and the tips about the iron were very helpful too, I was cleaning my grills to much with soap…We make pizzelle's at Christmas time and now I might make them all year now…
I have the same villaware pizzelle iron got it at a thrift shop to replace when I had that didn't work very well. I think it'll be awhile before mine is black.
