Homemade fig jam. Hi guys, after a few weeks’ holiday I returned home to find my fig tree full of fruit. I therefore decided to use 1.5 kg of them to make a jam. Here is the process, I hope you like it.

    Ingredients:

    – 1.5 kg of fresh figs

    – 200 gr of white sugar

    – Half cup of white vinegar

    – The zest of half a lemon

    ​

    To sterilize and vacuum the jars I used a state-of-the-art steam microwave, you can achieve the same result by boiling the filled jars in hot water facing down with the lid on for about 15 to 20 min

  2. Looks lovely . Fig ice cream made with ricotta is worth considering too.

  3. I love fig jam. Well done! Confettura di fichi is my favorite.
    Try it with cheese after the secondo.
