Today we’re trying some of the most famous Italian street food for the first time! Puccia is a baked sandwich famous in the Puglia region of Italy. They come stuff with all sorts of different toppings…kind of like a pizza sandwich. After leaving the wonderful Alberobello, and finally eating at a pizza joint we tried to eat at three times, we head to the coast in Puglia to the town of Monopoli! The town center is completely surrounding by walls, and our apartment was right in the middle! Definitely excited to be back near the water!
