Here’s what you need to know about heat bricks 🧱 Heat bricks are specially designed to handle high temperatures and are generally used in wood ovens. This is how we have used them in our conventional oven and I know so many of you want details. So here you are 👇🏽

Place the bricks on your oven wire rack to prevent scratching the bottom of your oven. You may need to cut the bricks to fit the dimensions of your oven and place the wire rack towards the bottom of the oven to give yourself more room when handling the pizza 🍕

Turn your oven on to the highest temperature. Close the oven door and leave for a good 20-30 minutes so the heat penetrates evenly through out the bricks. Once heated the bricks will retain the heat 🔥

You can find heat bricks at home improvement stores or wood oven sellers 🧱🧱

If you make your own dough or use a store-bought one, once you potion it, remember it needs resting.

The #zaatar Recipe as promised, Mix together👇🏽
1 cup finely ground dried oregano
4 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons sumac
1 cup toasted white sesame

Make #pizza a fun night with your family and give heat bricks a go. Remember to wipe them once cool and pack them away for next time 👏👏
