Welcome to another episode of “On The Road Edition”, hosted by Stevie Kim. This episode is the second part of Stevie’s trip to the Cantina Tramin in Bolzano, Alto Adige Here Wolfgang Klotz, Marketing and Sales Director, will tell Stevie the story of this gorgeous territory and the Tramin Winery. Wolfgang Klotz will then describe the Italian style of Gewürztraminer in Alto Adige and the perfect microclimate balance to produce this iconic wine from Cantina Tramin.

Cantina Tramin was founded in 1898 as a cooperative by Christian Schrott, the parish priest of Tramin and later a Member of the Austrian Parliament. The project was implemented to protect the livelihood and future of the wine producers in this mountainous area. Today, Cantina Tramin has 160 families and about 270 hectares of vineyards.
