Hello! We made a white bread loaf in the Ooni Pro Wood-fired Oven for the first time ever. Also it’s the first time I’ve used the wooden banetone and I’m still not sure how to use it or clean it! I normally just cook bread using the bread-maker but wanted to give it a go in the wood-fired pizza oven. I knew it was going to be a challenge!
White Bread Recipe:
550g strong white bread flour
360ml of water
1.5 tsp dissolved salt
1.5 tsp dissolved yeast
The Cook:
Heated Oven up to Full Heat then reduced it down to Air Temp to about 120c – could’ve gone up to 180c for a faster cook. Stone was 260c. Rotated and checked bread a few times. The bread took about 15 minutes to cook with oven door on.

9g dissolved table salt
300g water.
