The District Henderon Restaurants: The District is strategically located before you access Green Valley Casino; and it is the center of shopping and lots of entertainment. As a Henderson resident, I am proud of the excellent dining choices found here. Our first favorite restaurant is The Cheesecake Factory. Talking about its menu it’s redundant because this restaurant is the preferred place to celebrate birthdays, family events and more. A tip is that behind this restaurant, you will be able to enjoy a beautiful green area to spend a great time with your children, take photo sessions and relax. Number 2 Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que: This great restaurant offers slow-cooked meats & other Southern-style eats, such as Baby Back Ribs, St. Louis Spare Ribs, Texas-Style Beef Brisket, New Orleans Gumbo, Chimichurri Top Sirloin, and Smoke BBQ Nachos. Number 3 Pizza Rock: Order the Pizza Napolitana, Romana, Classic American, Classic Italian, Sicilian- Style, New York, Detroit, California, and Chicago. My family’s preferred pizza is Grandma the Hippie Pesto. All the gourmet pizzas are delicious in this diner. Number 4 King’s Fish: If you like oyster and shellfish, this is the restaurant to go. Try the crab and lobster, Macadamia nut crushed Alaskan Halibut, Miso-Yaki Chilean Sea Bass, Cioppino with Rock Crab. I suggest you taste the seafood chowder and this might become one of your beloved comfort foods. Our next opion is P. F. Chang’s. This classic Asian restaurant will always satisfy you. Its signature dishes are Dim Sum, Sushi, Korean Bulgogi, Peking Duck, Buda Feast, Signature Lo Mein, Signature sampler, and others. Its quality never changes and this is why it has been serving the Henderson community for over a decade. Number 6: If you want to eat a good hamburger with your preferred shake, go to Shake Shack. Vegetarians are welcome here. Order the ‘Shroom Burger that has crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses. I warn you that you might get addicted to this delicacy. Number 7: The mecca of the Authentic Napoletana Pizza is Settebello. The 12 types of gluten-free pizzas are a must to be eaten in this restaurant. They also sell authentic Italian products, such as flour, olive oil and others. Desert lovers will be amazed with the panna cotta. Enjoy it! Number 8: If you are craving culinary Italian delights, check Bella Vita. You’ll be pleased with the Chef Flavio Special that is tempura shrimp and calamari, broccoli, avocado caprese, prosciutto, salami, pistachio mortadella, mozzarella, burrata, olives, roasted peppers, artichoke hearts, crostini. We love the Gnocci or Tagliattelle Bolognese, the Linguini Clams, Branzino, Sergio’s favorite main course, and the Sogiola. As a desert, try the cannoli and spumoni. Buon Appetito! Number 9 Bottiglia Cucina: Its sophisticated Italian atmosphere and exquisite dishes will satisfy your senses. The Fried Burrata, King Crab Bucatini, Lobster Ravioli, Lobster Fra’ Diavolo, Wild Mushroom Tagliatelle are delightful. Bottiglia has also an Enoteca, therefore it is worth ordering any of its wines. Check the Happy Hour Monday- Friday 5-7 pm, and Live Music Friday after 7 pm. I am sure you’ll have fun here! And the last acclaimed restaurant in the District is Me Gusta Tacos. Eat the fusion tacos of Korean Kalbi, Pork Belly Banh Mi and Vegetarian ones as well. You’ll be satisfied with the delicious Anthem, Durango, Mission and California Burritos. If you have a party, ask for its catering service that will please meat and vegetarian foodies. Buen provecho! I am sure that you will consider any of the restaurants of The District in Henderson when you have cravings for Italian, American, Asian or Mexican delicacies.
