Hello everyone. I’m a cheese taster from Naples, Italy. I spent an evening with other cheese tasters, celebrating their graduation, eating pizza.
As many of them are also wine tasters, I asked for their expert advice on pairing pizzas with local regional wines and great wines from the rest of Italy.
Their suggestions covered whites, reds and sparky wines, according to classic or trendy pizzas and toppings… Ragù and Truffles being recent additions.

Unfortunately I was unable to take pictures of the sparkly wines as some of the ones recommended are rather niche.
We had pizzas at the Pizza Verace Association.
Pictures of wines were taken at Salumeria Ruocco in Corso Umberto. It is a grocery and wine shop. The owner, Alex, is also a cheese taster.
