The Neapolitan cake that everyone will love!INGREDIENTS
600ml (2 1/2 cups) of milk 300ml (1 1/4 cups) of water Orange (peel) Lemon (peel) 60g (1/4 cup) of butter 180g (1 cup) of semolina 4 eggs Lemon (zest) Orange (zest) 240g (1 1/4 cups) of sugar 250g (1 cup) of ricotta cheese Powdered sugar
METHOD
In a pot add the milk, water, orange (peel), lemon (peel), and bring to a boil. Remove the peels, add the semolina and mix until the mixture thickens. Remove from the stove and let it cool.
In a bowl, add eggs, lemon (zest), orange (zest), sugar, ricotta, and mix with a mixer. Gradually add the semolina mixture and mix with a mixer until everything is well combined.
Transfer the mixture into the cake mold (mold size – 24cm) and bake it into the oven at 175Β°C/347Β°F for 60 minutes. Decorate with powdered sugar.
