Italy is not only the Italian peninsula (shaped like a boot), but also the two largest Mediterranean islands: Sicily and Sardinia, as well as many smaller adjacent islands.
On the territory of the country’s capital, Rome, there is the Vatican state, as well as world-famous museums and ancient ruins.
