“The Neapolitan fried pizza was born as a female pizza: in the 40s, the Masardona, was the nickname for Anna Manfredi, Enzo’s grandmother and great-grandmother of Cristiano and Salvatore Piccirillo, she placed a table in front of the door, along with a fire and a pan to prepare her fried pizzas, they sold on the fly. They still sell like hotcakes, being eaten around the neighborhood and the city. ”
