After a few weeks of indunging for the holiday I wanted something light, refreshing and still a treat.
While searching the internet for Italian recipes, found this Italian fluffy lemon and orange cake, which I thought would be fun to translate and bring to you in this video.
It is a simple way to spend an afternoon with family and friends while sipping a cup of tea.
Please note the measures are in grams, but most scales will convert them for you as you measure.
Enjoy this little decadent fluffy delicious cake. for breakfast (the Italian way), as a snack or simply to treat yourself!

Below are the ingredients needed, for the steps follow along with the video, as it will demonstrate better than any translation I can do, lol!
INGREDIENTS
โข150 grams of granulated sugar
โข50 grams lemon juice fresh squeezed
โข100 grams orange juice fresh squeezed
โขthe zest of 1 lemon
โขthe zest of 1 orange
โข4 organic eggs at room temperature
โข80 grams of organic sunflower oil
โข1 tsp of pure vanilla extract
โข200 grams of 00 flour ( you can try and substitute with GF flour)
โข8 grams baking powder
โขPowder sugar to dust and finish
