Dorayaki is a traditional Japanese treat: similar to American pancake, dorayaki is a sort of “sandwich” made with two fluffy patties traditionally filled with sweet azuki red bean paste. But you can fill your dorayaki with your favourite filling: we used Nutella and jam!
Fun fact: Where do the name “dorayaki” come from? In Japanese, “dora” means “gong”: does this ring a bell? (or a… gong?)
