INGREDIENTS
1. Corn Flour – 2 tsp
2. Milk – 2 tsp
3. Brown Sugar – 2 tbsp
4. Cocoa – 1 tsp
5. Salt
6. Milk – 1 cup
7. Whipping Cream – 1/2 cup
8. Chocolate – 1/4 cup
9. Coffee – 1/2 tsp
10. Vanilla Extract – 1/2 tsp
Steps to prepare:
1. Take a small bowl, mix corn flour and milk – set aside.
2. In another bowl, mix brown sugar, cocoa and pinch of salt.
3. In a sauce pan, add milk, whipping cream and chocolate.
4. In a low heat, whisk until fully mixed.
5. Add cocoa sugar mix.
6. Mix until fully incorporated.
7. After 2 minutes, add corn flour mix to give thickness.
8. Heat should be low to avoid burning.
9. Off the flame and add coffee and vanilla extract into it.
10. Give it a quick mix.
11. Serve it hot. You can top with whipped cream, marsh mellows, etc.
12. Italian hot chocolate is best enjoyed by the spoonful. BON APPETITE!
