This simple and delicious pasta is a noodle dish from southern Italy with a delicious tomato sauce. The origin of the name is unclear. According to various anecdotal explanations, it is said to go back to the fact that prostitutes were able to prepare the dish quickly and easily between visits, but who knows. Nevertheless it is a simple yet very tasty and quick dish.
1) Start by bringing a pan with some olive oil (about 2 tablespoons) to medium heat. Put your Anchovis from the start into the pan. You want to slowly bring them up to low to medium heat until they almost dissolve in the oil. You do not want them to fry crispy. The oil should lightly sizzle.
2) Chop up 2 garlic cloves and add them to pan. Let it fry on low heat for at least a couple of minutes.
3) Now, add the caper and crush the olives with your hand and put everything into the pan and stir for at least 2 minutes at low to medium heat.
4) Take out the peeled tomatoes out of the tomato tin and crush them with your hand as well and add them to the pan together with some chopped parsley. Season with just a little salt and some black pepper.
5) Let the sauce simmer at a low temperature while your noodles are cooking.
6) Add the cooked noodles straight out of the pot to the pan and stir until the pasta has combined with the sauce.
