WHITE SAUCE PIZZA | NAAN PIZZA | ITALIAN CUISINE | ALFREDO SAUCE PIZZA
INGREDIENTS
Pizza base: 2-3 (any base of your choice)
Garlic (chopped): 5-6 cloves
All purpose flour (APF/Maida): 3-4 tbsp
Milk: 4 cups (add more if necessary)
Red chilli flakes: 1-2 tsp (adjust to taste)
Oregano: 1 tbsp
Crushed pepper: 1 tsp (adjust to taste)
Mixed herbs/Italian seasoning: 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Butter: 1 tbsp
Oil: 1 tbsp
Cheese: As much as you like
Onions, bell peppers, paneer as toppings (Add any toppings of your choice)
PROCEDURE
Preheat the oven to 375 F or 190C.
Heat a pan. Add butter and oil; allow it to melt.
Add chopped garlic and sauté.
Add APF and sauté well.
Once it’s well combined, pour in the milk.
Stir gently on medium low heat to avoid lumps being formed.
After a couple of seconds, it starts to thicken.
Add red chili flakes, oregano, crushed pepper and mix well.
Next add mixed herbs and salt to taste.
Mix well until it becomes nice, creamy and spreadable consistency.
The white sauce is ready.
Prepare a baking tray by applying oil to it.
Place the pizza base.
Apply the prepared white sauce on it evenly.
Add all the toppings of your choice.
Sprinkle red chilli flakes and oregano.
Top it off with cheese.
Sprinkle more red chilli flakes if you like.
Bake for 15-20 mins or until done.
The baking time varies depending the type of pizza base.
Once it’s done; allow it to rest for couple of mins before cutting the pizza.
Cut the pixie to the desired shape and serve.
