RECIPE
Ingredients:
1/2 cup softened butter
4 cloves of garlic, minced
2 TBSP parsley, chopped
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Italian bread
* you can also add cheese, if you’d like (ie Parmesan, mozzarella, etc.). If so, I’d recommend adding it during the last five minutes or so of baking, until melted.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 F.
In a large bowl, mix softened butter, garlic, parsley, and black pepper.
Slice bread into thick slices. Generously spread butter onto each slice, and place on baking sheet.
Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Ready to serve. For crispier bread, bake longer.
